Introducing Boost by Born Just Right

We are so excited to announce the curriculum that makes Born Just Right’s workshops deliver design opportunities to kids with disabilities is officially a part of our organization. After it originated as Superhero Boost/Cyborg, we are renaming it BOOST by Born Just Right.

Kate Ganim joins Born Just Right as its new Senior Program Director and brings her curriculum to our organization. Previously, she was the co-director of the nonprofit design organization KIDmob. We are so excited to create future BOOST events with her. We are also developing a curriculum that can go into classrooms where teachers can bring BOOST learning to more kids.

Kate was an advisor for Born Just Right from the moment we launched as a nonprofit. We are so excited she is playing an even more direct part in developing opportunities that combine disability and design through our organization. Kate’s workshop curriculum is the reason Jordan invented Project Unicorn. And that means she’s a big reason we evolved from a blog community to a nonprofit!

The next step for BOOST by Born Just Right

We want to bring more workshops to kids! But that takes partnerships and donations. That’s why Jordan decided this is the perfect time to launch her latest birthday celebration fundraiser. She turns THIRTEEN on December 29th. (eek!) For the first time, she’s launching at GoFundMe campaign to make sure we can raise enough money so one kid and a parent can participate in our next BOOST by Born Just Right event! (We don’t know when or where yet – but we’re working on new partners to help make that happen.)

We are so excited to see what is next for Born Just Right’s events. Thank you to everyone who constantly supports us in so many different ways.
