So many memories

We’re finally home and I’m able to upload more pictures and share this year’s super fun slide show from the 2012 Camp No Limits Missouri experience. It was super special and incredible to see a camp that started out with four limb different kids had SO MANY people attend just four years later.

One of my highlights of camp was having time to hang out with our friend Josh Kennison. He’s SUPER fast and is running in the 200 and 400 meter trials for the 2012 Paralympics in London this weekend in Indianapolis. Jordan, Cameron and I met Josh back in 2010 and we haven’t been able to see him in person since then. I’m so incredibly proud to see how he has continued to work SO HARD to reach his Paralympic dreams. Oh, did I mention Josh is a quadruple congenital amputee? I blogged about our time together during the 2010 camp a while back. Jordan and Josh had a ton of fun together this year… along with so many other kids and parents who continue to learn from him. Josh proves everything is possible for our kids. Heck, everything is possible for everyone.

So… with that in mind. Here’s this year’s Camp No Limits Missouri slideshow:

I’m going through all of my photos and will share even more stories of camp soon. (Plus, stories of Jordan’s weddings… one from earlier this month and one that’s coming up this Saturday!)

I loved, loved, loved, loved that slideshow. The music to it was perfect as well. What a bunch of beautiful children, the joy radiated from their faces. No wonder you look forward to going there 🙂
Amazing, thanks so much for sharing. You made my day!

Thanks Lisa! It really is a wonderful experience each year.
If other camps want to put together one, you can. I grabbed photos from a handful of parents attending camp and put this together to share during our end of camp talent show.

My pregnant friend just found out she’s having a baby girl that is missing part of her forearm and hand. She is devastated and grieving and I I think it would help to talk to a mother who has gone through this experience before. Can you please help mefind someone she can talk to?

Tammy, I’m very happy to talk to her – please send me an email: jen [at] bornjustright [dot] com.
