Inspiration – Found on ESPN

I’ve written about Kevin Laue before… I’ve stumbled onto stories about him since he was in high school. He’s an inspiration to many people because he was born with one hand and an ability to kick butt on the basketball court. He’s shown up on ESPN and the New York Times… but I haven’t seen a video story this thorough about his experience playing for Manhattan and the many kids and parents who are reaching out to connect with him. Check this out:

I was kind of jealous of the little kids who got to meet him in person. I have no idea if we’ll find an opportunity… but I would love for Jordan to get a chance to say hi. I realize Jordan isn’t phased by her difference. She is able and pushes through so much. But I still think it’s great to meet others who prove time and time again that a limb difference won’t hold you back unless you let it!

In today’s sermon “Impossible is just an opinion.” And Sam’s favorite, “If I had two, I’d STILL be dangerous!”. Sam would love to meet him too! Why don’t we work on getting him to Camp No Limits? I might have a connection to his school. I’ll let you know.
