Easter fun

There are all kinds of exciting things that come with an Easter celebration… and for the five year old Miss Jordan it wasn’t the candy or the egg hunt. It was her beautiful outfit.
Jordan was so excited to dress up for the holiday. I bought her a new pair of shiny white shoes that had a slight heel to it… Nothing pointy, but it gave a little lift. She decided that when she walked, she sounded “just like Mommy’s shoes.” Very sweet.

Of course, we also celebrated the holiday for its true purpose… But I’ll be honest, I’m not certain that Jordan really understands. But we’ll keep talking and teaching.

I do know that she ate four of her hardboiled eggs, too much candy and couldn’t sit still when we all went to a family movie. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend.

I discovered your blog while reading Columbia Home magazine. I only know you through Twitter and the J-school, but must say that the stories you share about Jordan are very touching. Honestly, I totally missed the fact that she is missing part of her left arm when looking at these photos. I was so distracted with how adorable she is that I had to go back and look again. Your blog title is a wonderfully prefect double entendre.

Thanks Lisa! It’s cool to see someone drop by this site through the magazine.
