Craft Fun!!

Jordan had a chance to hang out with her old friends from her first preschool… Seriously. How could it have been a year ago since we moved schools? Anyway, she’s lucky enough to get to visit with some of her friends! So last night after a busy day at school, she got to create some holiday crafts and be silly with some of her girls. So cute.

I tried to get Jordan to use her helper arm… This picture was the best I could get. She had a chance to really use her open/close hand when we put together a necklace, but Jordan wasn’t interested in using it. I was so bummed. I was also amazed to watch the other kids who are the same age and how easily they can do fine motor work. I’ll be honest. I was a little jealous. I considered taking a stand and forcing Jordan to use her helper hand or she wouldn’t get to wear the necklace. But I reconsidered. Taking a stand while hanging out with friends you don’t see often didn’t seem right. So she got to enjoy that necklace. It is pretty sweet.

I was wondering how it was going with that helper hand.

    Kids.

Jordan looks beautiful and happy as always.
